A container ship belonging to the Rosatom State Corporation came under attack by Ukrainian naval drones in the Black Sea, Sputnik reports, citing Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev.
"It was an ordinary civilian container ship sailing in international waters and carrying civilian cargo ranging from frozen food products to construction and cladding materials," the head of Rosatom stressed.
According to him, the container ship sank as a result of the attack.
Likhachev said that all 17 crew members on board were rescued and are in satisfactory condition.
