The death toll from a suicide bombing outside a police station in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has risen to 14, with another 20 injured, APA reports citing Dawn newspaper.
Earlier, seven people were reported dead and 18 injured. According to Swat District Police Chief Umar Khan, the suicide bomber detonated his explosive device after police officers attempted to stop and search him at the entrance to the station.
The explosion occurred near Kabal Chowk, where a large protest rally was taking place at the time against the rise in terrorist activity in the Swat Valley.
