The Deputy Minister told journalists that though the new WTO director has been appointed, it doesn’t affect Azerbaijan’s membership.
Mammadguliyev said that the issues of joint cooperation on goods and services with India, South Korea and Chine will be discussed at the negotiations: “Moreover, bilateral talks will be held on granting agricultural subsidies to Argentina and Brazil. Following this process, we will be able to admit favorable conditions for granting subsidies. The organization has not agreed on several issues yet. At present, a number of the issues remain on the negotiating table. We are trying to solve these issues eventually.”
