The European Union (EU) has for the first time imposed new sanctions on Russia over the deadly missile and drone strikes on Kyiv carried out on July 1 and 5, APA reports.
According to the EU Council, the restrictive measures target one individual and five legal entities.
Brussels emphasized that these entities are part of Russia's military-industrial complex and are involved in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the EU, these enterprises are engaged in the development and production of electronic and radio-electronic components used in Russian drones.
