Baku. Shamil Alibeyli – APA. “There is no final say on the issue of oil transit between Azerbaijan and Russia,” chief of the Presidential Administration Political Analysis and Information Provision Department Elnur Aslanov told journalists, APA reports.
He said that the situation should not be dramatized, because final decision has not been made yet: “Azerbaijani media dramatizes this issue in some way. Any state takes position in terms of its economic efficiency. Earlier, the negotiations were conducted, views expressed on this issue. Oil delivery through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline will be continued till the end of this year, because when the sides pass decision on transit, they inform each other 6 months in advance. As a result of the talks, both we and the Russian side will have the opportunity to have the final say. It is not right to say something that will cause tension. There is no final say on this issue yet,” he said.
