Baku – APA. As a part of his visit to Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Minister of Petroleum Industries Anura Priyadarshana.
The Foreign Ministry told APA that they discussed opportunities for developing energy cooperation between the two countries, the Sri Lankan Minister noted that his country is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan.
They also stressed that Azerbaijan has a good experience in training oil and gas specialists. Mammadyarov said that during the USSR, students and specialists from a number of countries studied and were trained at Azerbaijan’s educational establishments. He called on Sri Lankan specialists to use the rich experience of Azerbaijan.
