Commenting on the first meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia joint commission on demarcation in Moscow, the ambassador said that demarcation problem is long-term: “However it is gratifying that Azerbaijan-Russia joint commission on demarcation has already been established. This process will take at least 2-3 years. The process has already started. Currently, the work is being done at the level of experts. I reiterate that this is not the work of a day or two”.
Bulbuloghlu said that the installation of border poles and implementation of technical work will be an example for the commission’s activity: “The issues of land, water and border are considered with the participation of the two countries’ relevant agencies. Generally, this is large-scale work. 23 persons participated in the first meeting of the commission in Moscow. This in itself says something about the character of the work to be done,” he said.
