APA’s Moscow correspondent reports that Lavrov said they will discuss the current state of bilateral relations and joint events: “I would like to note that the cooperation of the two countries within regional and international organizations is on the high level.”
Elmar Mammadyarov mentioned Lavrov’s visit to Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Russia-Azerbaijan diplomatic relations.
“I hope constructive discussions will be held. I would like to note that Russia-Azerbaijan relations are on strategic level,” he said.
The meeting was later continued without the participation of media representatives.
