Norway’s Deputy Foreign Minister begins visit to Azerbaijan

Baku. Lachin Sultanova–APA. Norway’s Deputy Foreign Minister Raymond Johansen has arrived in Azerbaijan for the working visit. The Deputy Minister has already met with the leaders of political parties and the manager of the Norway’s Statoil Company operating in Azerbaijan, Norwegian Embassy in Baku told APA. In the second half of the day Johansen will meet with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov and Deputy Foreign Minister and Rector of the Diplomatic Academy Hafiz Pashayev.
Johansen had to begin his visit with the familiarization with the project carried out by the Norwegian Humanitarian Organization in Absheron orphan home, but this part of the program was cancelled because delay of his flight from Georgia. The Deputy Minister’s meeting with the European ambassadors accredited in Baku can also be cancelled for this reason.
Johansen began his visit to the region from Armenia and then he visited Georgia and is finishing his tour in Baku.
