Baku-APA. Neymar hit twice to lead Brazil to a 4-1 win over Cameroon and into the last 16 at the 2014 World Cup finals on Monday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

With the two goals, Neymar tops the scorers' list with four goals from three games.

After the victory, Brazil finished winners of Group A with seven points, edging Mexico to the second place with a better goal difference. The host team will play the round of 16 match against Chile on June 28 in Belo Horizonte while Mexico take on the perfect Netherlands on June 29 at Fortaleza.

Neymar's first goal came in the 17th minute and it was the 100th goal at the tournament. The match against Cameroon is also Brazil's 100th match in World Cup finals.

Cameroon then pulled level through Joel Matip. The goal showed Brazil's defence line was shaky.

Neymar didn't take too much time to put his team ahead again as he scored his second goal of the match before half time.

The good news for Brazil is that another forward Fred, who had been critized heavily for his performances in the previous two games, also put his name on the scorer's list. He headed in a perfect cross from David Luiz at the 49th minute. Fernandinho added one goal to seal the 4-1 victory in the 84th minute.
