Euro 2016: Hungary win Group F while Iceland and Portugal also reach last 16

Baku-APA. Hungary advanced to the Euro 2016 knockout phase as Group F winners while Portugal went through in third place after the pair played out an entertaining 3-3 draw in their final group match in Lyon, APA reports quoting euronews.

Zoltan Gera fired Hungary into the lead on 19 minutes with a fantastic long range strike.

Nani levelled the score on 42 minutes for his second goal of the tournament.

Hungary and Portugal captains Balazs Dzsudzsak (jewjak) and Cristiano Ronaldo then exchanged two goals each in the space of 15 crazy second half-minutes to eventually share the spoils.

Portugal were left in third place in Group F after Arnor Traustason struck three minutes into added time to hand debutants Iceland a 2-1 win over Austria.

Jon Bodvarsson got Iceland in front on 18 minutes.

Austria defender Aleksandar Dragovic missed a penalty on 36 minutes, Alessandro Schöpf picked up the slack driving home the equalizer before Traustason burst through to hit the winner.

In the first knockout phase Portugal will meet Croatia in the top half of the draw while Iceland have set up a last 16 clash with England.
