The Liverpool striker pounced in stoppage time to send the Three Lions top of Group B and the England fans in the Stade Felix Bollaert-Delelis in Lens into raptures, APA reported.
He was the second substitute to score for Roy Hodgson's men, after Leicester City frontman Jamie Vardy capitalised on a defensive mistake to equalise in the 56th minute.
