The preamble of the document says that thanks to the state care for sports in Azerbaijan various international sports competitions, including world and European championships are held in our country every year. Football has a special place among such competitions. With the view of improving and promoting football in our republic, Baku has been nominated to host 2020 European Football Championship.
In accordance with the procedure on admitting nomination for organizing 2020 European Football Championship, bid book will be prepared for submission to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) is to prepare the bid book and carry out necessary organizational activities.
