Azerbaijan has advanced one spot in the UEFA ranking, APA reports.
This was possible based on the results of the return games of the second qualifying round of the European Cup.
The coefficient of the 23rd ranked country is equal to 18,375.
"Qarabagh" scored five unanswered goals against the "Lincoln" team of Gibraltar in the Champions League. They also won away - 2:0.
Yesterday, "Zire" beat "DAC 1904" club in Slovakia - 2:1. "Zire" won confidently in the first duel - 4:0.
"Sabah" won the penalty shootout (3:2) of the match (3:0 in the first game) in extra time against Israel's "Maccabi" (Haifa) team (3:6).
"Sumgayit" lost at home to the Hungarian representative "Fehérvár FC" and had to stop the fight, even though it was a goalless draw on the road.
These matches gave Azerbaijan 0.625 points in the rating.
The ranking list of 55 countries is headed by England (89,160).
