The United States will focus on defense and security ties in its cooperation with Azerbaijan, US Chargé d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Amy Carlon said during a panel discussion titled “Middle Corridor: Unlocking Trade, Industry and Connectivity Potential” as part of the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, APA reports.
She said that the key issues being discussed between the United States and Azerbaijan are reflected in the partnership agreement signed in February: “We have already made significant progress. Going forward, we will continue to focus on connectivity, economic investment, the creation of data centers for artificial intelligence and other innovation components, as well as defense and security ties. Continued cooperation in these areas will further strengthen ties between people and businesses.”
