Baku â€“ APA-Sport. Neftchi club is inviting new footballers. APA-Sport reports that the club will sign contract with several experienced players.

Two of the legionaries are known. They are Russian Andrey Salnikov and Turkish Ugur Yildirim. Andrey is not so known, but Yildirim had played for Go ahead, Herenven in the Netherlands and Blackkburn club in England.

He was invited to the national team by Marco van Basten three years ago and played in the friendly match against England. The Turkish player was not called to the national team after that and appealed to FIFA. He expected FIFA to cancel his play in the match and Turkish national team to invite him. FIFA satisfied his request, but none of the coaches invited Ugur, who left the national team when Ersun Yanal was the coach of the team.

Ugur Yildirim had also received a â‚¬4 million proposal from Galatasaray. Yildirim, who scored a goal in four matches in Gaziantepspor in the past three years, later played for Sivasspor.
