Agaselim Mirjavadov: Our referees are stronger than their foreign counterparts

Azerbaijani footballers should take difference between our referees and foreign referees, head coach of Khazar-Lenkeran f/c Agaselim Mirjavadov told the APA-Sport Agency.
Mirjavadov expressed his regret on Azerbaijani footballersâ€™ getting red cards in international tournaments. Khazar-Lenkeran f/c got two of them. But Mirjavadov did not agree with it.
â€œI saw unfairness. Head coach did not expel the rival footballer from the match who treated Zaur Ramazanov rude. He had to show red card to Croatian footballer. It shows that foreign referees have sympathy to our rivals,â€ he said.
Mirjavadov also stressed necessity of having international matches for reducing punishments in future.
â€œWe meet foreign referees twice in a year in summer and winter. Our footballers should participate in international matches for getting used to the control of foreign referees. I regard that Azerbaijani referees are stronger than their foreign counterparts,â€ he said. /APA-Sport/
