Exercises are successfully continuing as part of the “Power of Unity – 2026” joint military exercise being held in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense told APA.
In accordance with the exercise plan, practical tasks under various training and combat scenarios are being carried out with the involvement of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as aviation assets.
Aviation assets are skillfully maneuvering at various altitudes along designated routes, while strikes are being carried out against simulated enemy air targets, radar and anti-aircraft missile systems, military equipment and terrorists' ground positions.
The purpose of the exercises is to improve pilots' practical skills, ensure coordinated operations between aviation assets and personnel, and test their ability to perform assigned tasks under complex weather and terrain conditions.
