XVI Azerbaijan championship draw held

Secretary-General wished all teams successes in the championship. Malik Hasanov, AFFA chairman of the Department for Organization and Holding Tournaments invited all teams to attend the draw. The team representatives chose the cards with numbers from 1 to 14. â€œKhazar-Lankaranâ€ representative chose first of all. â€œKhazar-Lankaranâ€ chose number 8.
â€œNeftchiâ€ 4, â€œBakÄ±â€ 3, â€œÄ°nterâ€ 1, â€œMKT-Arazâ€ 10, â€œOlympicâ€ 5, â€œKarvanâ€ 7, â€œGarabaghâ€ 9, â€œSimurgâ€ 6, â€œTuranâ€ 11, â€œGilanâ€ 13, â€œGenclerbirliyiâ€ 12, â€œMasallÄ±â€ 14 and â€œStandard-Bakuâ€ 2. The other first round matches are Â«Ä°nterÂ» (Baku) - Â«MasallÄ±Â» (MasallÄ±), Â«NeftchiÂ» (Baku) - Â«TuranÂ» (Tovuz), Â«Standard-BakuÂ» (Baku) - Â«GilanÂ» (Gabala), Â«BakuÂ» (Baku) - Â«GenclerbirliyiÂ» (Sumgait), Â«OlympicÂ» (Baku) - Â«MKT-ArazÂ» (Ä°mishli), Â«SimurgÂ» (Zaqatala) - Â«GarabaghÂ» (Aghdam). The most interesting point is that 5 of 7 matches will be held in Baku. The championship to start on August 11 finishes on December 2. The matches will take place on the weekends. The second round will start on February 16. The principal match between â€œKhazar-Lankaranâ€ and â€œNeftchiâ€, best candidates for gold medal will be held on November 10-11. /APA-sport/
