UEFA punished halfback of Khazar-Lankaran f/c Emin Guliyev, APA-Sport agency reports.
Emin Guliyev has been banned for five matches. The referee showed the red card to 30-year old footballer in the match against Croatia’s Dinamo f/c in Baku. Israeli head referee noted that Emin Guliyev deliberately hurt the rival and spit in his face. Therefore UEFA Disciplinary Committee punished the footballer.
Guliyev will have to miss the match in Croatia as well as further two stage matches.
Even if Khazar-Lankaran stops competing in Champion’s League or Emin Guliyev transfers to another club the footballer’s punishment will be efficient. /APA/
