Ramiz Mirzayev: Neither I, nor new secretary general demanded dismissal of Ali Huseynov

Mirzayev stated that though issue regarding Huseynov was not in the agenda of EC, the debates ended with his dismissal.
â€œNeither I, nor new secretary general of AFFA Elkhan Mammadov demanded dismissal of the Referees Committee Ali Huseynov. We regarded expedient his dismissal during the debates,â€ he said.
Mirzayev stressed that Elkhan Mammadov has been officially appointed to this post. He stated that Mammadov will chair licensing group at the same time.
â€œ5 people were participating in the Executive Committee. Jahangir Hajiyev and Kazbek Tuayev could not attend the meeting as they went for holiday. In spite of this Elkhan Mammadov has been appointed secretary general and the chief of licensing group.
Fuad Asadov resigned because of the problems in his health and has been appointed the councilor of AFFA President at his own request. The composition of the expert commission was also asserted,â€ he said.
â€œAs AFFA President I state that we try to hold the country championship objectively and transparently. We had unexpected results in the matches between Olympic-Neftchi, Turan-Karvan,â€ he said.
He also criticized the footballers who left national team.
â€œThere are several footballers play in one match and refuse the other. These players have no patriotic and national feelings. Azerbaijani football can not develop in this way,â€ he underscored. /APA-Sport/
