Khazar Isayev and Telman Abdullayev accuse each other for incident in women football championship
He stated that they will investigate quarrels in last round of the championship if they are appealed.
“First of all, the issue should be considered by AFFA Disciplinary Committee. If the parties appeal us, we are ready to investigate the violation of fair play in the matchesâ€, he said.
Isayev is the president of two-time national champ Gomrukchu which didn’t join the championship this season. Isayev said the root of the disagreement is Telman Aliyev who is the chief of all female squads and Ruslan-93.
“Abdullayev has nothing to do with sports. I have heard that he takes all oppotunites to help Ruslan-93 win the championship. There was a rumor before the last match that this team would be a champ. The quarrel might have occurred from hereâ€, he said.
NOC official blamed referee Babek Guliyev for the incident in Ruslan-93 – Sebuhi match. Isayev also commented on Veten’s refusal to play second half of the match against Neftchi.
“I was informed that Veten head coach Zamin Esedullayev declined the match after the talk with Telman Abdullayev. Some heard him saying “All right, comrade Abdullayevâ€, he said.
The opposite party refutes these claims. Abdullayev told APA-Sport that Isayev is responsible for incidents.
“Gomrukchu chaired by Khazar Isayev doesn’t take part in the championship. But as its footballers perform in Neftchi on loan deal, he imposes pressure on organizers and demands them to give championship to Neftchi. We had no talk with Zamin Esedullayev during the match. Esedullayev used to work as a coach in Gomrukchu. He would prefer to help Neftchi insteadâ€, he said.
Isayev refuted claims that he imposed pressure on the organizers. He said he is not in good relations with Asim Khudiyev, president of Azerbaijan Women Football Federation. /APA-Sport/
