The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026), held in Baku under the patronage of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, has kicked off, APA-Economics reports.
The Forum has brought together leading investors from around the world, representatives of government institutions and international financial institutions, as well as business leaders.
The Forum, held in strategic partnership between the Ministry of Economy and The European House – Ambrosetti & TEHA Group, will last two days. The event is dedicated to the theme “Rebuilding Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Resilience.”
The Forum serves as an important platform for establishing new partnerships, attracting investment and creating new economic opportunities. Its aim is to establish partnerships on specific projects and develop mechanisms for joint action that contribute to mutual prosperity.
Sessions to be held as part of the Forum will discuss the impact of global economic and geopolitical processes on economic growth and investment, Azerbaijan's strategic position against this backdrop, regional connectivity and investment opportunities, as well as prospects for cooperation in various fields.
As part of the international economic event, Azerbaijani institutions are expected to sign and exchange documents on cooperation with various foreign companies and partners.
The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum is expected to contribute to promoting new investment areas and cooperation opportunities, expanding Azerbaijan's role in regional economic connectivity and implementing promising projects.
