Azeri footballer included in 30 best strikers’ list

15th Azerbaijan championship striker, Khazar-Lankaran forward Zaur Ramazanov, 31, has been included in the list of best strikers of the world, APA-Sport reports.
The list prepared by International Federation of Football History and Statistics includes forwards scoring at least 20 goals. Ramazanov is ranked 24th among 30 best strikers of the season. Azeri forward scored 21 goals in the championship.
Unlike Gold Boots prize for the best striker of Europe, points are not counted in IFFHS list. That’s why AC Roma forward Francesco Totti, 31, who won Gold Boots with 26 goals, is ranked 5th in the list. Herenven forward Alfonso Alfes leads the list with 34 goals in Dutch championship. Ramazanov dropped behind English Chelsea forward Didier Drogba (20 goals) and Italian Livorno forward Cristiano Lukarelli. /APA-Sport/
