AlÄ± AlÄ±yev: My dismissal from Inter connected with not only health problem

â€œThough I didnâ€™t resign from the post of sports director, I intended to leave Interâ€, former Inter sports director Ali Aliyev told APA-Sport.
Aliyev stated that he was unaware of the decision made by Inter leadership.
â€œI am unaware of the decision about my dismissal. I heard it from you first. But my intention was connected with health problem. I suffer from pains in kidney. Club officials knew it. Football is a game of hazard and emotional events make blood pressure increase. It negatively affects kidneys. I didnâ€™t take treatment for several years. I went on vocation after previous seasonâ€, he said.
Aliyev said one-month vocation is to last till July. He added some other reasons why he intended to resign.
â€œWe failed to gain achievements during three years I worked in the club. If there is no achievement, it is better to leave. I think we managed to establish a strong school in Inter. It is head coach who is responsible for achievements. I had no problem with Inter and am going to support the team in the future. I have been in football for 12 years and I am going with it foreverâ€, he said.
Aliyev has worked in Inter since the club was called Khazar Universiteti. /APA-Sport/
