Today Neftchi Veterans Football Club (VFC) held a meeting on suspension of veteran footballer Isgender Javadov from AFFA member organizations for two years, Neftchi VFC president Ogtay Abdullayev told APA-Sport.
Abdullayev stated that the participants protested against AFFA leadership’s attitude towards Javadov. They stressed the merits of 51-year-old in national football. Veterans think AFFA dismissed Javadov, who was awarded Order of Shohrat (Glory), instead of learning from his critical statements. At the end of the meeting the participants decided to appeal to AFFA president Ramiz Mirzeyev, AFFA Disciplinary Committee chairman Tofig Fetullayev, Youth and Sports Ministry and National Olympic Committee. /APA-Sport/
