Esedov announced the decision in today’s meeting of AFFA Executive Committee. The secretary general explained the decision with health problem. AFFA president Ramiz Mirzeyev, vice-president Elshad Nesirov and committee members Kazbek Tuayev, Yashar Sultanov and Mirkamil Rehimov also participated in the event. The officials accepted Esedov’s resignation. For the time being, AFFA assistant president Eleddin Agayi will assume the responsibility.
Esedov, engineer in occupation, has worked in AFFA since 2000. He was appointed to the post of secretary general at AFFA conference on 29 December 2003. /APA-Sport/
