Arno Pijpers: We could not keep promise to beat Azerbaijan

â€œWe promised to the fans to beat Azerbaijan but we couldnâ€™t keep itâ€, Kazakhstan team head coach Arno Pijpers told a press conference after the match against Azerbaijan.
Dutch trainer spoke about refereeing.
â€œI reacted to the refereeing because I was very nervous. After the defeat by Armenia we tried to play better against Azerbaijan. We took great risks though it contrasted our plans. I want to express satisfaction with our play. I didnâ€™t expect the footballers to play so resolvedly in minorityâ€, he said.
Pijpers commented on the attack by a fan.
â€œIt is normal if a fan is dissatisfied with the coach but no one has right to express protests in this way. I am not going to resign for itâ€, he said. /APA-Sport/
