“I don’t believe legionary limit will be changed in AFFA conferenceâ€, Yevlakh’s Karvan club head coach Yunis Husseinov told APA-Sport.
He thinks the limit will be 3+2 in next season as well.
“AFFA doesn’t consider the legionary limit as a serious issue. That’s why I don’t think 3+2 will be changed. I want it would be increased up to 5+2â€, he said.
Karvan has more legionaries in Azerbaijani football. There are 9 foreigners in the team. Two of them – Brazilian Ernani Pereyra and Marcus Fereyra – play in national squad and considered as local footballers. Husseinov noted that these footballers have been nationalized because the squad needs them.
“Nationalization of Brazilian players favoured us, anywayâ€, he said. /APA-Sport/
