Ruslan Guliyev removed from Shahdag

Shahdag has removed experienced keeper Ruslan Guliyev, head coach Behram Shahguliyev told APA-Sport.
The trainer said Guliyev didnâ€™t justify hopes and expressed discontent with the player.
â€œRuslan performed very poorly. He made childish mistakes in the encounters with Baku and Simurg and missed three goals. He is 36. As an experienced goalkeeper, he should have showed the team that he is useful. He poorly attended the camp and didnâ€™t train much. Besides, I heard some unpleasant rumours about his. Considering all these, I cancelled the contract and removed him from the clubâ€, he said.
The trainer noted the team has no problem with goalkeeper.
â€œYoung keeper Tariyel Husseinov played very well in last match against Olimpik. We also picked a junior player from our second team. He will be a reserved goalkeeperâ€, he said.
Guliyev was transferred to Shadag from Olimpik in inter-season break. He is 3 years older than Shahguliyev. /APA-Sport/
