Poland and Ukraine have been chosen as joint-hosts of the 2012 European championship, APA-Sport reports.
The decision was declared today at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Cardiff, Wales.
Poland and Ukraine won over other candidates Italy and Croatia – Hungary in a result of votes among 12 committee members. The projected Polish venues are Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw, with Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kiev and Lvov the host cities in Ukraine.
AFFA also put forward its canditacy to host the competition but withdrew in first stage. /APA-Sport/
