“I believe UEFA Executive Committee will approve AFFA’s proposal at the meeting tomorrowâ€, Inter coach Valentin Khodukin told APA-Sport.
Ukrainian trainer said he is aware that AFFA has proposed Ukraine as a neutral venue for Azerbaijan – Armenia matches. Khodukin said he supports this proposal.
“AFFA made right decision in suggesting Ukraine. Azerbaijan squad will have great fan support if the matches take place in Ukraine. Actually, I consider Ukraine as an appropriate venue to host such encounters. AFFA showed Donetsk as a concrete place for matches in Ukraine because this city has all necessary conditions for football. I prefer Donetsk to Odessa in this matterâ€, he said.
The coach stressed he relies on Grigori Surkis, president of Football Federation of Ukraine.
