According to him, as Azerbaijan’s candidacy for hosting 2020 Summer Olympic Games has been discussed up to now, Baku froze temporarily the organization of the European Football Championship: “We held discussions with Georgia, but didn’t overstate this issue because of Olympics. Azerbaijan was not included in “short-list†and we addressed on the European Championship. Budapest hosts FIFA congress today. Our secretary general is there and we put in nomination with Georgia to host Euro-2020â€.
AFFA President said that the issue on holding the World Cup with Turkey was not considered.
