Baku-APA. Chelsea battled their way into the final of the Champions League on Tuesday with a defiant 2-2 draw at defending champions Barcelona, APA reports.

Chelsea went through on a somewhat fortunate 3-2 aggregate, having won the first leg 1-0 on April 18 in London.

Brazilian midfielder Ramires and supersub Fernando Torres scored the crucial away goals for Chelsea, after Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta had given Barca a 2-0 lead.

Chelsea had captain John Terry sent off for an off-the-ball foul on Alexis Sanchez. FIFA World Player Lionel Messi missed a penalty for Barca.

In the final, to be played on May 19 in Munich, Chelsea will meet either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, who will finish their semi-final on Wednesday in the Spanish capital. Bayern won the first leg 2-1.
