Pavlyuchenko on target in Spurs FA Cup stroll

Baku-APA. Russian international Roman Pavlyuchenko scored in Tottenham Hotspur’s third round FA Cup 3-0 victory over minnows Cheltenham on Saturday in what could be one of his last starts for the Premier League side, APA reports.
Pavlyuchenko, 30, has been frustrated over his lack of first team opportunities this season ahead of Russia’s participation at Euro 2012. The striker has said he would like to leave in the January transfer window and a number of teams – including super-rich Russian side Anzhi – have expressed an interest.
Pavlyuchenko scored in the 43rd minute after some slick passing from his teammates left him with an easy chance.
Tottenham’s other goals were scored by Jermain Defoe and Giovani dos Santos.
