Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attends opening ceremony of Baki FCâ€™s new training base

APA reports that during the acquaintance with the training base, President was informed that 5 stadiums are included in the complex constructed in 5-ha territory. Two of them have natural grass, 3 â€“ artificial grass. One of the stadiums with artificial grass is open, the other one is close.

President, who got acquainted with the conditions created in the stadium with artificial grass, was informed that this was the largest closed stadium in the region. Its length is 75m, width â€“ 45. The general area of the playground is 3375 sq. m. the partition and materials used in the top layer of the stadium, which was constructed on the basis of latest technologies, are fire-resistive. The infrastructure, created up to the world standard, will play an important role in the development of football, increase of footballersâ€™ professionalism, and holding the competitions.

Then the president familiarized himself with the conditions created in the training baseâ€™s press center.

It was said that the development of childrenâ€™s football was in the center of attention in Azerbaijan. Today â€œBakiâ€ football club is successfully represented in the domestic championships among all age groups. The development of beach football was also in the spotlight, the sandy playground was established here.

President got acquainted with the living conditions of young footballers in the complex.

It was said that the clubâ€™s Football Academy was functioning in the complex.

After acquaintance with the complex, President Aliyev met with â€œBakiâ€ football clubâ€™s members and coaches.

A souvenir of â€œBakiâ€ football club was presented to the Head of State.
