Arda Turanâ€™s â‚¬12-million transfer to Atletico

Baku â€“ APA. Turkeyâ€™s Galatasaray confirmed â‚¬12-million agreement with Atletico Madrid for Arda Turan, APA reports. According to the agreement, if the Spanish club is qualified for the UEFA Champions League next season, it will pay additional â‚¬1 million to Galatasaray. If Atletico plans to transfer Arda to any Turkish club, first of all, it will have to negotiate it with Galatasaray. The Turkish winger fulfilled his dream to play for the Spanish club. He will sign five-year contract with Atletico. Former Galatasaray captain will earn â‚¬2.5 million annually.

Atletico said Arda Turan would hold a press conference on August 12 to say goodbye to his fans and in the evening he would arrive in Madrid. Arda will be introduced to Atleticoâ€™s fans at Vicente Calderon on August 16.
