President of Trabzonspor club arrested

Baku – APA. The second wave of arrests started in Turkey over the match-fixing and sale of the questions of the management exam conducted by the Football Federation. APA reports that on July 11 the police detained president of Trabzonspor club Sadri Shener. Shener was taken to Istanbul police office. It is not known what charges are brought against him.
Former member of Turkish Football Federation Management Board Levent Kizil and goal-keeper of Ankaragucu team Serdar Kulbilge have also been detained.
The police operations over match-fixing and rigged management exam started on July 3. The court passed judgment on arrest of 26 persons, including president of Fenerbahce club Aziz Yildirim.
