Azerbaijan to close access to foreign bookmaker websites

Baku â€“ APA. The event devoted to the opening of totalizator has been held today in Azerbaijan, APAsport.az reports. Director of "Azeridmanservis" Azer Maharramov made public the rules of totalizator: â€œIt will be a good chance for sport lovers, especially football fans to spend spare time. They can bet and win. The prizes will be completely given. We guarantee it. As yet the sport totalizators will surround Baku and Absheron. 60-70 points will work for it. In future this game will surround entire Azerbaijan, and 250-300 points will be opened. Azerbaijanâ€™s Youth and Sport Minister and Ministry of Taxes will control these points. The technical sides of them will be solved by Turkish Intetek Companyâ€.

Maharramov also spoke about illegal bookmaker offices in Azerbaijan: â€œThe totalizator is legalized by the Cabinet of Ministers. But the black market is not our question. The law-enforcement bodies will be engaged with them. Our work is to establish our net. The betters must choose 3 games. In future it will be possible to bet for 1 or 2 games. The minimum bet will be 1 AZN. The maximum amount of the winning will be 250 thousand AZNâ€.

Director also made clear the sharing of the income: â€œ4.2% of the income will be wasted to development of the sport in the country, 6% will be wasted to the taxes.â€

Maharramov spoke about the coefficients as well as the coefficients of the foreign offices: â€œThe current websites in this filed will be closed. Now we work in this direction, but owing to modern technologies it is possible to open them by some. As regards to our coefficients, they will be published in special programs, and these programs can be bought in the points. In future our website and coefficients will be placed there. â€
