Germany leads Argentina 1-0 after 15 minutes

Baku-APA. Thomas Mueller’s goal has given Germany a 1-0 lead over Argentina after 15 minutes of their World Cup quarterfinal match, APA reports quoting The Associated Press.
Mueller headed in a Bastian Schweinsteiger free kick three minutes into the game, after Lukas Podolski was fouled on the left wing.
It was Mueller’s fourth goal of the World Cup.
Germany had most of the possession early in the match, with Mesut Oezil looking to push forward from the midfield.
Argentina’s forward line of Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez and Gonzalo Higuain hadn’t touched the ball much.
