The Turkish lira has renewed its anti-record against the US dollar, APA-Economics reports.
The Turkish currency has lost value against the dollar again, falling to a new historical minimum. The TL fell by 0.7 percent against the dollar today, falling to 35.4. However, it later recovered some of its losses and rose to 35.19.
In total, the TL lost 20 percent against the dollar in 2024.
In parallel, the TL also lost a record amount against the manat this year. According to the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on December 20, 1 TL fell to 0.0483 AZN.
