"The Islamic Development Bank has so far financed 77 projects in Azerbaijan with a total amount of USD 1.3 billion," said Areef Suleman, Chief Economist of the Islamic Development Bank Group, APA reports.
He emphasized that the majority of these projects cover the energy sector: "However, agriculture, like other fields, is also of interest. For this reason, we will continue to support Azerbaijan in the future just as other partner countries."
