The international banking and financial services corporation of the Netherlands, ING (Internationale Nederlanden Groep), has reduced its inflation forecast for Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
ING Group has reduced its average annual inflation forecast in Azerbaijan for 2024 from 2.2% to 2.1%, and for 2025 from 4.7% to 4.1%. This is 0.1 percentage point and 0.6 percentage points less, respectively, compared to ING's September forecast.
ING has set an inflation forecast in the country for the fourth quarter of 2026 at 5.4%.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Economy forecasted that annual inflation in the country in 2024 will be 5.3%, and in 2025 - 4.9%.
