From January to October 2024, a total of AZN 1 billion 454.6 million was transferred into banks in Azerbaijan through rapid money transfer systems. The volume of funds sent from banks abroad amounted to AZN 440.9 million, APA -Economics reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Compared to the January-October period of the last year, the volume of funds entering banks through rapid money transfer systems decreased by 30 % or AZN 621.8 million, and the transfers from banks abroad decreased by 14.7 % or AZN 76 million.
Note that in January-October 2023, AZN 2 billion 76.4 million were received by banks in Azerbaijan through fast money transfer systems. The volume of funds sent abroad from banks amounted to AZN 516.9 million.
