"There has never been a budget of this level in the history of our country. The proposed state budget expenditure level for 2025 compared to 2021 represents a 50% increase," Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said this during a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis' Youth and Sports Committee, Committee for Public Associations and Religious Institutions, and Culture Committee during the discussion of the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025," APA-Economics reports.
"Undoubtedly, if there was an opportunity to allocate funds to all directions, the state would do so. However, this is not possible even in the richest countries of the world. Therefore, we are trying to present a budget draft to all directions as much as possible," the minister noted.
