Economic growth in Azerbaijan in 2024 was 4.1%, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
It was noted that in 2024, the gross domestic product of AZN 126.3 billion or 4.1% more than the previous year was produced. The added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy increased by 0.3%, and in the non-oil and gas sector by 6.2%.
35.9% of GDP production accounted for industry; 10.7% trade; vehicle repair; 7.0% for transportation and warehousing; 6.7% for construction, 5.7% for agriculture, forestry and fishing; 2.4% for to tourist accommodation and public catering; 1.9% for information and communication sectors, 19.9% for other sectors, and net taxes on products and imports accounted for 9.8% of GDP.
GDP per capita was AZN 12,382.5.
