The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) have decreased by 3.6% or USD 403.9 million compared to the previous month, reaching USD 10.9678 billion, APA-Economics reports citing the CBA.
The reserves have decreased by 5.6% since the beginning of the year, but increased by 3.3% compared to the same period last year.
Note that the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves reached their peak in September of this year, amounting to USD 11.7958 billion. After that, the CBA announced that it would increase foreign currency sales, taking into account state needs.
