Azerbaijan's 2027 state budget envisages approximately AZN 900 million in dividend revenues from more than 40 state-owned enterprises, Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said at the conference titled "Digital Financial Ecosystem: A New Stage in Governance" held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to the minister, in line with the President's instructions, a special reporting portal has been created to monitor the activities of state-owned companies and improve dividend policy.
"Within a short period, 1,113 enterprises registered on the portal and submitted 11,434 reports. As a result, the approved budget reports of 950 state-owned companies for 2026 were obtained, and the preparation of dividend forecasts for 885 enterprises was completed," the minister said.
Sahil Babayev noted that, as a result of the analyses conducted, dividend payments from more than 40 enterprises have been envisaged in the state budget for the first time.
"Dividend payments of approximately AZN 900 million are planned in next year's state budget. This is a clear indication of both the results achieved in recent years in the management of state-owned companies and a new approach to public financial policy," the minister emphasized.
