In 2024, 21 billion 435.1 million manat invested in fixed capital in Azerbaijan, or 0.7 percent less than in 2023, APA-Economics reports citing Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.
Noted that the volume of investments directed to the oil and gas sector decreased by 10.2 percent, while the volume of investments directed to the non-oil and gas sector increased by 3.3 percent. Of the used investment, 10,641.3 million manat or 49.6 percent was spent on production areas, 8,221.1 million manat (38.4 percent) on service areas, and 2,572.7 million manat (12.0 percent) on the construction of residential buildings. 18,145.7 million manat or 84.7 percent of the investments directed to fixed capital were domestic investments. 15,524.9 million manats or 72.4 percent of investments in fixed capital were spent directly on construction and installation works.
