In January-June 2024, the revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan increased by 14.9% compared to the corresponding period of last year and amounted to AZN 34 billion 56.2 million, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, in January-June of this year, budget expenses increased by 6.5% to reach AZN 31 billion 38.1 million.
In the 11 months of this year, the surplus of the state budget was AZN 3 billion 18.1 million which is more by 6.2 times in comparison with the corresponding period of previous year. In the same period of 2023, this figure was AZN 486.8 million.
